Big Tall Small is a free browser puzzle platformer where three characters, each built differently, must work together and reach one shared exit to finish every level.
The game hands you three characters and one goal: get every single one of them standing at the exit before the level is considered done. Nobody finishes a level alone.
Controls stay light on purpose:
WASD or arrow keys handle movement and jumping
Down arrow, space, or enter swaps the active character
R restarts the level from scratch
Esc or B backs out to the menu
What makes this tricky isn't the controls themselves. It's the order you do things in. Move a block to help one character across a gap, and you might just have sealed off the only route another character had. Most levels reward a slower approach: look at the whole layout, figure out who needs to go where, and only then start moving.
Not at the exact same moment, but all three do need to be standing there before the level clears. Getting two out of three there isn't enough.
Hit R. It resets the level instantly, so a wrong move costs you a few seconds rather than forcing a slow walk back.
The controls themselves take a minute to learn. The actual difficulty is in the planning, working out which character should move first and why.
What sticks with you after playing Big Tall Small isn't the platforming itself, it's the small moment of realizing a move you liked five seconds ago just trapped someone. That's the whole game in a nutshell: quick to learn, slow to solve, and built around thinking one step ahead of yourself.
