Melon Sandbox is a physics sandbox from DUCKY LTD with no story and no limits. You drop fruit characters, weapons and vehicles into the scene and watch what unfolds.
Drag characters, objects and mechanisms onto the screen. Double click any item and a context menu opens, where you can switch it on or change its size and texture. After that it is trial and error. Pair a weapon with a vehicle, add an explosive and see what happens. When a build works, press Save and reload it later from the saves tab. The themes menu swaps the map.

No. There is no progression system, so every condition comes from you.
Weapons and violence are part of the game, and each platform judges that differently, even though the pixel art is cartoon style rather than realistic.
Yes. Build maps in the editor or enable community mods to expand the item and character selection.
Melon Sandbox works because it hands you the tools and then steps aside. There is no score to chase and no failure screen, so the only pressure comes from your own curiosity. A tomato and a railgun become a small experiment. A bus, a ramp and a pumpkin become a stunt. Over time, the editor and community mods stretch the game well past its built in content, and the best sessions often come from builds you would never have planned. The pixel art keeps the mayhem light, which suits a quick ten minutes as much as a long evening. Players who treat it as a lab for odd ideas get the most out of it, while those who need a goal handed to them may drift away. Give it one evening with a clear idea in mind, and you will quickly see which group you belong to.
